As a natural birth guide and childbirth educator I often get asked for podcast recommendations among other resources.
I looove podcasts and my multitasking mamas do too. It’s the best way to get informed while getting things done.
I have listened to these podcasts for years on a weekly basis- my clients love them and so do I.
As a minimalist I like to keep things simple and straightforward >> this list is no different. If the podcast show is on this list it is because the episodes house QUALITY, TRANSPARENT, MINIMAL TO NO FLUFF CONTENT that is educational and inspiring.
This list is for you if you are seeking to navigate your pregnancy holistically, birth naturally and in autonomy, make informed decisions and prepare for a healing postpartum.
You will find plant medicine, lifestyle tips, mind body spirit wellness, a breakdown of labs and ultrasounds and guidance for your birth journey.
Dr. stu and Goddess Midwife Bylss come together weekly to shed light on the realities of the medical system, advocating for physiologic birth and the benefits of homebirth.
They have seen it all and hold nothing back-FULL TRANSPARENCY with a HINT of SCIENCE and a DRAM of SARCASM. This show is both informative and inspirational with a blend of education and heartwarming homebirth wins. Highly recommend!
Emille Saldaya and Yolande Norris Clark, founders of Radical Birthkeeper and Matribirth Institute, are both advocates for autonomous freebirth.
There episodes share inspiring birth from start to finish that remind us we are made to birth. They invite women to share their personal birth journeys whose experiences help weave the narrative that birth is a biological process and that women have everything they need to birth within.
I recommend listening to as many birth stories as you can to get a sense of the rhythms of labor, what women do to navigate birth and to deconstruct the lies conditioned into society that women need help to birth, that birth is dangerous and that the hospital is the safest place to birth.
A holistic health podcast for my ritual keepers and plant medicine mamas.
Amber Magnolia Hill’s voice is like honey and her content is earthy, educational with a pinch of witch.
